ABOUT
BRUNSWICK TV3

Brunswick TV3 is a Government and Public Access facility cablecasting on Comcast Channel 3, operated by the Town of Brunswick, Maine
for the benefit and use of our residents and non-profit organizations.

Our primary responsibility is to cablecast and record Town meetings. Additionally, we cablecast a variety of public access programming, some of which is locally produced.

The facility is located at Brunswick Town Hall
85 Union Street, Room 127, 1st Floor.

The staff is comprised of the Cable Television Master Control Operator and the IT Manager who also acts as staff for the Cable Television Advisory Committee, and is responsible for all aspects of facility operations, such as engineering, systems design, maintenance, programming, budget and staffing. The IT Manager is directly responsible to the Town Manager. Additionally, the staff includes part-time operators who cablecast the town meetings and assist the station as needed.

Brunswick TV3 is an automated television facility utilizing a combination of program delivery systems including video servers controlled by a Tightrope Media Systems Cablecast/Carousel system.

Information posted on the bulletin board comes from official information and announcements of the Town and its departments, and from non-profit and civic groups conducting business
within our Town.
